Aditya Roy Kapur is set to headline a new musical romance produced by Bhushan Kumar and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, marking another collaboration after Aashiqui 2 and Metro In Dino. Promising intense love, action and a powerful music-driven narrative, the T-Series project is envisioned on a grand scale and targets a 2027 theatrical release.

Aditya Roy Kapoor is back to romance. The actor is set to join forces with producer Bhushan Kumar and filmmaker Milap Milan Zaveri for an intense musical love story.

Kumar had earlier backed Kapoor's classic 2013 musical romance Aashiqui 2, alongside the actor's other significant projects including Malang, Ludo and Metro In Dino. Zaveri, meanwhile, directed last year's hit romantic-drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.

According to the makers, the yet-untitled film will build on a blend of intense romance, high-octane action, and a soulful soundtrack, promising to portray love in its "most passionate form".

On reuniting with Kapoor, Kumar said their association with the actor goes back many years and has resulted in films that audiences continue to love. "From Aashiqui 2 to Metro… In Dino, every collaboration has been special in its own way. We share a great creative comfort, and I’m happy we’re coming together once again for a story that’s intense, emotional and mounted on a grand scale.”

Zaveri also expressed praise for Kapoor's "rare ability" to portray honest and emotional love. "Ever since Aashiqui 2, audiences have connected with him in stories driven by passion and heartbreak. This character is layered, intense, and emotionally complex, and I couldn’t think of anyone better to bring that journey to life,” says the director.

Backed by T-Series, film is being envisioned on a grand scale, promising audiences a truly immersive theatrical experience.

Driven by music at its core and anchored in intense storytelling, the project brings together a skilled creative team. The film is set to go on floors later this year before arriving in cinemas in 2027.
