Sreenu Kambala's debut Telugu film Donga Naa Koduku, starring Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, has locked a November 13 release date. The production banner, Mythri Movie Makers, announced this with a poster featuring Mouli and actors Ali and Rajitha, who appear to play his parents.

The film marks the directorial debut of Sreenu Kambala and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, with Anil Yerneni serving as co-producer. The film boasts a supporting cast that includes Sushmitha Shetty, Ali, Rajitha, Raghubabu, Priya, and Gundu Sudharshan in key roles.

The first-look poster presents Mouli making a lively entrance through a giant Jack playing card with a wide grin. Other visual elements in the poster include a black backpack, scattered gold jewellery, and paper fragments.

The film brings together a skilled technical team, wherein Suriya Balaji handles the cinematography, Sinjith Yerramilli composes the music, Sreedhar Sompally takes charge of editing, while Nagendra Guvvala oversees the production design. The title might be commercial, but there's a lot to unpack in the film, Mouli wrote on X.

The comedian-turned-actor was last seen in Little Hearts, the breakout Telugu romcom from 2025. "Mouli, who plays Akhil, a young but harmless loafer, lends unending amounts of wit and humour to the role. The film could’ve easily taken on an off-colour tone, considering it deals with complicated gender dynamics of a romance where the man relentlessly pursues the woman. But Mouli and the dynamic team of actors (including Shivani Nagaram as Khathyayani and Jai Krishna as Akhil’s friend) think on their feet and keep the mood enjoyably frothy. “It’s good that you’re older than me; you’ll take care of me,” remains Akhil’s simple yet darling philosophy," read THR India's description of the actor's depiction, which made it to the best Telugu performances of 2025.
