The Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Antilia turned into a star-studded affair as top Bollywood celebrities and cricket icons arrived to seek blessings. With Antilia decked in elaborate lights, floral installations and temple-style decor, guests including Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan joined Nita Ambani for traditional rituals and multi-day festivities.
Ganesh Chaturthi at Antilia, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's Mumbai residence, once again pulled together a sprawling guest list of Bollywood's biggest names, all arriving to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings and mark the festival with the family.
Monday's celebrations came wrapped in elaborate decorations and traditional rituals, with the building itself lit up for the occasion.
The turnout read like an industry roll call with all bigwigs in attendance. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor (with her sister Karisma and kids Taimur and Jehangir in tow) were present Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, the Kapoor siblings Janhvi, Khushi and Arjun, Madhuri Dixit with husband Shriram Nene, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were present.
Other celebrities who graced the event included Disha Patani, Kriti Sanon, Karan Johar, Kajol, Boman Irani, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Rekha, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan with wife Natasha Dalal, and Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.
Producer Gauri Khan attended with her mother, while cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Deepak Chahar also came with their families.
A few looks stood out: Salman kept it casual in a shirt and jeans, meanwhile Kareena opted for a yellow suit, and actor couple Alia and Ranbir went traditional. Ranveer, Sidharth and Kiara also drew attention from the cameras stationed outside.
Host Nita Ambani greeted arriving guests and members of the media herself, dressed in traditional wear with statement jewellery.
