Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan's Ladaku, based on an extraordinary real-life story of perseverance and ambition, is set for a global theatrical release on June 18, 2027. This marks their second collaboration after the 2024 biographical sports drama 'Chandu Champion,' with Aaryan also debuting as a producer under Dopamine Studios.

Joining forces for their second film together after Chandu Champion, director Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan's upcoming title, Ladaku, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 18, 2027.

The film is said to narrate an extraordinary, real-life story rooted in perseverance, grit, ambition and hope. Produced by Ananya Birla’s Birla Studios and Kabir Khan Entertainment, the film also marks the debut of Aaryan as a producer with Dopamine Studios.

Ladaku also marks the duo's second collaboration since the 2024 biographical sports drama Chandu Champion, in which Aaryan starred in the lead role as the paralympic athlete Murlikant Petkar.

With his last project being the 2025 romance drama Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri alongside Ananya Panday, Aaryan has had no releases this year, as the actor is preparing for a broad slate of projects in 2027.

Along with Ladaku, the actor is set to star in Mrighdeep Lamba's (Fukrey, Fukrey Returns, Fukrey 3) Naagzilla - Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand, Shimit Amin's (Chak De! India) Captain India, Sandeep Modi's (The Night Manager) Kaaliya, and an untitled musical with actor Sreeleela.

While Khan's last directorial was Chandu Champion, in July this year, the director announced his collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions and Australia's Mind Blowing Films on the feature film Silkyara 41, inspired by the miraculous real-life rescue mission at the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarakhand, India.
