A second poster shifts the mood. Kaushal is seated in a pool of water, holding a bouquet of flowers, his expression unwavering. The pairing of danger and romance suits a film that has put both in its title.
The makers signed off the reveal with a line in Hindi that translates roughly to "Eyes will meet, but they won't look away," followed by the film's worldwide release date of January 21, 2027.
Kaushal's look is the third character reveal for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Kapoor's posters landed first, followed by Bhatt's a day later. Together, the three make up a campaign is building steadily on social media.
Bhatt's first look drew the most conversation so far. She appears in a cabaret-inspired showgirl avatar, performing on stage in a feathered headdress, crop top, thigh-high-slit skirt and boots. Veteran actor Zeenat Aman was among the first to react, welcoming the "showgirl" and writing on her Instagram Stories that the 70s were back. Bhatt thanked her, revealing the cast had spoken about Aman countless times on set.
The buzz spilled beyond the official material. An alleged clip from the film began circulating online soon after Bhatt's posters dropped. The performer's face isn't clearly visible, though the outfit resembles the one in her poster, fuelling speculation that it belongs to one of her cabaret sequences. The makers have not confirmed whether the footage is genuine.
