With a theatrical date now fixed, the makers of Nakhrewaalii have released a poster for the romantic comedy featuring newcomers Ansh Duggal Pragati Srivastava. Produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow, the film arrives in cinemas on October 30, 2026. The artwork bears a Hindi tagline, 'Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Mein Majnu Ko Bhi Laila Banna Padta Hai' (Sometimes in love, Romeo has to become Juliet), suggesting at a role reversal driving the story. A trailer is expected to follow soon.

Ansh Duggal was last seen in the Prime Video romantic comedy film Don't Be Shy. In the poster for Nakhrewaalii, he is seen bare-chested in a pink choli. Srivastava was previously seen in Telugu cinema as the character Taayi in Peddha Kapu 1. This marks Srivastava's Hindi debut.

The poster is the first public glimpse of the film's quirky world. The tagline and picture suggest this is a reversal of roles of courtship, wherein we find the classic hero character put in the shoes of a female protagonist.

Rahul Shanklya directs the film from a screenplay by Divy Nidhi Sharma. Sharma's recent work includes Chiraiya (2026) and Sitaare Zameen Par (2025) The makers of Nakhrewaalii have branded the genre a "womantic comedy", a label meant to flag a modern outlook on relationships and gender equality, served with humour and sentiment. Duggal and Srivastava, described by the makers as promising newcomers, headline the project.

Despite the light tone, the makers say the story is built to prompt discussion around women's safety and long-standing social norms.

The announcement did not name additional cast members, nor share details on runtime, certification or music. Nakhrewaalii is slated for a theatrical release on 30 October 2026.
