Nivin Pauly is all set to return to the sets of his mentor who introduced him as an actor. Vineeth Sreenivasan, who discovered the star as a part of his debut diretorial Malarvadi Arts Club, will soon collaborate with Pauly for the fifth time. They have so far worked together in Malarvaadi Arts Club, Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, and Jacobinte Swargarajyam and he was also seen in a cameo in Varshangalkku Sesham. According to reports, Vineeth made the announcement of his project with Nivin during the launch of his new film Chadangu. Nivin Pauly’s Onam Release Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is on its way to become one the highest-grossers in Malayalam of all time.
Pauly, meanwhile, has started shooting for what could be his 51st film. In Kochi, on Sunday, the production work on the film was launched with a switch-on ceremony. The as-yet untitled film is produced by Martin Prakkat under the banner of Martin Prakkat Films, Nivin Pauly under Pauly Jr. Pictures, and Siby Chavara and Ranjith Nair under Green Room Productions. The director of the film is Nashid Famy, a writer who has worked on the Vipin Das-directed superhit comedy Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. Rukmini Vasanth, who starred in pan-Indian blockbusters such as Kantara: Chapter 1, is starring opposite Pauly. The press statement added that Nivin Pauly regular, Aju Varghese, will also be seen in a full-length role this time. The rest of the cast features Jagadish, Kalaranjini and Ashokan.
Vineeth Sreenivasan will next be seen playing the lead actor in Chadangu, a Malayalam film which was launched last weekend. The film is being directed by debutant Abhijith Sarya. The shoot of the film has commenced and the cast also includes Suresh Krishna, Jagadish, Sona Nair and others. Sreenivasan was last seen in Naslen’s Mollywood Times and directed Karam, which released to mixed reviews.
