The trailer of Parivarik ManuRanjan showcases a unique bond between Aditi Rao Hydari and Pankaj Tripathi, blending comedy, family drama, and romance. As a caretaker and her employer grow closer, secrets unravel, leading to unexpected twists and challenges.
The trailer of Varun V. Sharma's comedy film Parivarik ManuRanjan is out, and it shows actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Pankaj Tripathi sharing an intriguing dynamic as a man and his housekeeper.
The film, which combines comedy, family drama and romance, focuses on the budding relationship between the two characters and the challenges they face together as they grow closer and truths are revealed.
The trailer beings with a voiceover reading aloud an advertisement for a hardworking property manager and housekeeper who would be willing to perform household chores like cooking and cleaning in a professional manner, with food and living arrangements absolutely free.
This is when Hydari's character Helen is introduced as the housekeeper who arrives at Mr. Dubey's (Tripathi) door upon reading the advertisement. The rest of the visual asset shows them becoming familiarised with each other, roaming the locality together and Mr. Dubey visibly happy with her being at his home.
This also attracts much conversation from those living around them, with some questioning if she has cast some kind of a spell on him while others pointing out Helen's beauty, Mr. Dubey's luck and him having hit the jackpot for finding someone like her.
The twist arrives when two policewomen arrive at Mr. Dubey's door asking for a woman named Manu Joshi, which drives Helen into panic and opens up an investigation as people suspect her to be a thief. Towards the end, the trailer shows a scene in which Tripathi's character says "Bohot rah liya Beta ban ke. ab Alpha ban ne ka time aa gaya" [I've spent long enough playing Beta. It's time to be Alpha now].
Parivarik ManuRanjan is set to release on Sony LIV on November 13.
