The makers of Jailer 2 have debuted a promo for 'Bindass', a special number featuring Nora Fatehi from the upcoming Rajinikanth film. The full song will drop today at 6 pm, amid fervent fan anticipation.
Known for her chartbusting special numbers across industries, Fatehi makes her debut in Tamil cinema with 'Bindass'. The song has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The upcoming film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar features a 12-track album, with 'Bindass' expected to emerge as one of its highlights.
The teaser features Fatehi, in her signature style, swaying and shashaying atop a pool table. A swirl of backup dancers in masquerade masks and two kids in suits and hats fill the frame. The tune is peppy and playful, with the Hindi phrase 'Chori hogayi...' accompanying the Tamil lyrics. Anirudh Ravichander and Deepthi Suresh have lend their vocals to the song while the lyrics are penned by Super Subu.
Bindass follows in the footsteps of Kaavaalaa, the viral special number from Jailer (2023) that featuring Tamannaah Bhatia alongside Rajinikanth. Earlier, another single from Jailer 2, titled One Time, was released online.
The highly anticipated sequel has been in production for over a year and will release on October 15 this year. Its release coincides with the Dussehra holidays, a strategic move intended to give the sequel a grand opening across both domestic and international markets.
Even as excitement builds for Jailer 2, Rajinikanth has wrapped up the third schedule on his next film, Dharman. In a major development, Telugu star Sreeleela recently joined the film's cast. The film also features Ram Pothineni.
Director Ashwath Marimuthu recently confirmed that Dharman will complete its shoot by October 2026. Speaking at an event organised by Galatta, Marimuthu spoke about the schedules that have been completed, what working with Rajinikanth was like and a different side of the superstar that audiences will get to see in this film.
"The Dharman shoot will be over in October 2026," the director said. "Two schedules have been completed. Rajinikanth sir is in a Gen-Z vibe, and the film will be a very likeable one. We are having quite some fun."
