Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, is set to make history with ₹97.64 crore in advance bookings ahead of its November 5 release. The Hindi version leads ticket sales, contributing 82% of revenue, while Telugu and Kannada versions also perform well. The epic promises a grand cinematic experience across multiple languages.

History will be made for the Pre-Diwali release window on November 5, when Ramayana hits the screens.

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated magnum opus, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, is putting up healthy pre-release numbers, grossing a staggering ₹97.64 crore in overall advance bookings as of Wednesday morning.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the multi-starrer feature has successfully sold 25.88 lakh tickets across 83,736 tracked shows from November 5 till November 9. Even without blocked exhibitor seats, the film has earned ₹77.71 crore gross from 20.68 lakh tickets sold in India.

According to the tracker, there has been a surge in ticket bookings since Tuesday. In just four hours on Wednesday morning — between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM — the movie made an extra ₹1.20 crore in ticket sales.

Due to a tussle over distributor-exhibitor revenue sharing, a large chunk of the shows of the film couldn't open till Monday. Now that the issue has been resolved, Ramayana will witness a bigger surge of bookings today, on the last day of pre-sales.

The Hindi language version is driving the most demand. Sacnilk reported that the Hindi version is making up 82 percent of all ticket sales at ₹79.00 crore. The Telugu and Kannada versions are drawing a lot of interest as well, bringing in ₹8.10 crore and ₹4 crore.

By city, Delhi-NCR leads the country with ₹13.34 crore in sales, while Mumbai follows closely at ₹11.91 crore. The film, backed by Yash and Namit Malhotra, features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

Envisioned as a two-part epic, Ramayana: Part 1 will release worldwide on November 5 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam across India.
