Rukmini Vasanth teams up with Shree Karthick, director of Oke Oke Jeevitham, for a lively feature film. A teaser video shared on X introduces Vasanth as Thara, alongside co-stars Dev Ramnath and Vinayak Vaithianathan, promising an adventurous and heartwarming cinematic experience.
After starring in one of the biggest films this year, Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups, Rukmini Vasanth is eyeing her next massive feature film in collaboration with filmmaker and screenwriter Shree Karthick, best known for directing Oke Oke Jeevitham (2022).
On October 23, the actor posted an almost 3-minute video on X, giving the audience a glimpse into the lively and comical tone of the film. The post's caption read, "Here's to new beginnings and a new journey as Thara! Happy to be a part of @twittshrees's next #RukminiandFriends."
While the video introduces Vasanth as Thara, it also introduces actors Dev Ramnath and director and screenwriter Vinayak Vaithianathan as her co-stars.
The video opens with Karthick peeling the page off a wall calendar when he gets a call from a man named Sai, asking if he has finalised Thara yet. Ramnath and Vaithianathan stand behind him, listening to their conversation. Suddenly, all three receive a notification on their phones at the same moment, which visibly shocks them, building great comic intrigue before the final reveal of Vasanth.
Earlier today, Karthick also posted the video on X, expressing the thrill of working with his co-stars. The post read,"By the blessing of the divine. Excited to collaborate with the most beautiful & a talented artist @rukminitweets. A crazy, adventurous heartwarming film is on the way. Just like #okeokajeebitham this film will stay in your hearts forever. #rukmini&friends."
This untitled project is produced by Siruni Cine Corporation, alongside Madboys Entertainment and co-producer Saikrishna Gadwal.
Alongside this major project, Vasanth is also set to star in the NTR-Prashanth Neel film Dragon, the Nivin Pauly-starrer NP51 with which she will make her debut in Malayalam cinema, and the upcoming Kannada film Mangala Gowri.
