Samantha Ruth Prabhu confirmed her pregnancy on Wednesday, June 24, at the success meet of her latest film Maa Inti Bangaaram in Hyderabad. She and her husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, are expecting their first child together. The announcement came in response to a fan at the event who asked her not to take another long break from films. She responded, "Sorry, guys, one more small gap and then I will be back. I have to take maternity leave now. I am very, very happy."
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru got married on December 1, 2025, in a ceremony at the Ling Bhairavi Temple at the Isha Yoga Centre. Neither Samantha nor Raj Nidimoru have made an official announcement regarding the pregnancy on social media.
