Sony Music South officially introduced actor Naslen's role in the upcoming Tamil crime comedy Scene. Naslen stars as Eswaran, the principal antagonist in the film, alongside Suriya and Nazriya Nazim who star in leading roles. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film releases worldwide in theatres on November 6, 2026.
The character teaser shows Eswaran scrolling through his phone with a human body hanging behind him from the ceiling. Meanwhile, his voiceover explains: "Hi, guys! We’re now going to watch a small chemistry experiment. Kids, don’t try this at home."
Suriya's character in the film, introduced earlier by the makers as DCP Inbaraj, is seen in the trailer describing Eswarana as a "faceless, emotionless, inhuman predator."
Suriya shared the character reveal on X and welcomed Naslen to the Tamil film industry, writing, "Some introductions are special! Proud that #Scene marks the Tamil debut of the immensely talented #Naslen.

The announcement confirms Naslen's character, whose look had been kept under wraps since the film's shoot finished in July 2026. This role, alongside being his debut in Tamil films, marks a departure from the roles that established him among Malayalam audiences.
Naslen is best known for playing Sachin in Premalu (2024), directed by Girish AD, a romantic comedy that became a major commercial success in Kerala. He was last seen in Mollywood Times earlier this year. Some of his notable projects include Lokah Chapter One: Chandra (2025), Jo and Jo (2022) and #HOME (2021), among others.
Principal photography for Scene wrapped in July this year, with the makers sharing a behind the scenes video. The video shared brief glimpses of Suriya, Nazriya and Naslen's characters, without revealing much about their roles.
The film is co-written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, known for Aavesham (2024) and Romancham (2023) , and marks his first Tamil production.
Scene releases in theatres worldwide on November 6, 2026.
