The teaser of The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest introduces Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in a fantasy folklore that blends romance, action and mystery. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and backed by Balaji Motion Pictures with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film follows a city man returning to his village and confronting a sacred forest and an unknown deity.
A mystical forest in a folklore setting. That's the universe The Vvaan: Force of the Forest introduces in its debut teaser, which sees Sidharth Malhotra leading from the front as he battles forces—and creatures—of all kinds. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra (of Panchayat fame), the film is billed as a folklore spectacle about a forbidden forest governed by a chilling rule: Entry into the forest after sunset is prohibited.
The film pairs Malhotra and Bhatia on screen for the first time. The teaser shows Malhotra as a practical, city-based man who goes back to his family village and ends up at a sacred forest with an unknown deity that has been waiting for him.
The teaser also offers a glimpse of the characters played by Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Manish Paul and Anup Soni, rounding out the ensemble around Malhotra and Bhatia.
With dialouge by Anandeshwar Dwivedi, the film has been written by Arunabh Kumar, who has also produced it alongwith Niraj Kothari, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor.
The film's music has been composed by Vishal Mishra, Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi and Sam CS.
The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest releases in cinemas on September 25. It is a major film for Malhotra, who was last seen in the romantic-comedy Param Sundari, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. It is also Malhotra returning to the action space after the 2024 feature Yodha.
Bhatia, meanwhile, was last seen in the 2025 Telugu supernatural feature Odela 2.
