'Jasmine Green Tea, LimePass, Skincare...': Mallika Sherawat, Shweta Tripathi and Others Reveal Their Travel Essentials

From Hasselblads to hats, Bollywood stars reveal the travel essentials they refuse to leave home without

Packing lists reveal more than luggage allowances — they’re a quiet showcase of what a person values. For some, that means the practical armour of good shoes and skincare; for others, it’s a camera to hold onto a memory, or simply the discipline to pack light and let the trip do the rest. Be it a quick getaway or a long vacation, for some celebrities, it’s all about comfort, while others make room for hobbies, fitness or skincare.

The Hollywood Reporter India asked actors what never leaves their travel bags — and got answers that say as much about their instincts as their itineraries.

Randeep Hooda

A nice pair of easy pants, some boots, an easy shirt and a hat, which always helps.

Mallika Sherawat

I love my premium brand of jasmine green tea — it puts me in a good mood. And I always carry my favourite perfume and lip balm.

Rasika Dugal

A sturdy pair of sneakers, a cap, a foldable bag and a lightweight water bottle. Basically, just be ready to walk for a very long time or trek up any mountain in sight.

Shweta Tripathi

Shweta Tripathi.

My ultimate travel essential is my skincare. I keep it basic but use quality, tried-and-tested products because I have dry skin. Besides that, I am a light packer. I always carry a cap to protect myself from the heat, a lip and cheek tint for a natural glow, and comfortable sneakers because I walk a lot.

Saiyami Kher

I am a very light traveller. But there are a few things I cannot travel without. My swimwear, running shoes, basic prescribed medication from my doctor in case of an emergency, and my phone charger.

Monali Thakur

I have quite a few travel must-haves! To start with, my sneakers, for comfort. I always carry my Hasselblad camera and its lenses, and my Leica camera because I love capturing the memories I create. Then, of course, my debit and currency cards, and my translator app are the first few things I check off my travel list.

Great, comfortable footwear is a must. I walk a lot whenever I travel, especially abroad, because I love exploring cities on foot. Good skincare products are also non-negotiable. And I always carry my running shoes because I love going for outdoor runs in different cities.

Ayesha Kanga

My travel essentials are a LimePass (a subscription service for Lime e-bikes and e-scooters that provides discounted rates and free vehicle unlocks) and excess baggage.

Dibyendu Bhattacharya

My travel essentials are, of course, books, music, good clothes and comfortable travel gear. Travel, for me, is all about comfort. I believe in the philosophy of dolce far niente, the sweetness of doing nothing. I simply love laziness.
