'Aja Sundari': First Look of Joju George And Lijomol's Film Out

The first look of Joju George's intriguing upcoming film Aja Sundari was recently released. In the poster, George is seen looking warily outside as he's travelling in a public bus with a goat on his lap. "Its my very personal cinema From @getmanuantony Editor of @panimovie and @irattamovie And Dearest @aashiqabu , This team vl make wonders in 2026 , So happy ,being a part of #AJASUNDARI #opmcinemas (sic)," Joju wrote on Instagram.

The Malayalam film marks the directorial debut of editor Manu Antony, who has previously worked on films such as Pani, Iratta, Padmini and Christy. The upcoming film, which co-stars Lijomol Jose, is written by Manu and Geetartha AR, with additional screenplay by Saneth Radhakrishnan. Aashiq Abu serves as the cinematographer, while music is composed by Gopikrishnan P N of Drumyuga, who also goes by his indie moniker 6091.

Joju George will next be seen in Jeethu Joseph's upcoming directorial, starring co-starring Biju Menon. Titled Valathu Vashathe Kallan, the Malayalam film will be released later this week. August Cinema, Bedtime Stories, and Cineholix jointly produce the film, which co-stars Lena, Irshad Ali, Gokul, and Shaju Sreedhar. Its technical team includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS and music director Vishnu Shyam.

Joseph, who is popularly known for his Drishyam series with Mohanlal, will next be working on the third instalment of the film, which was confirmed in an announcement in February. The first part of Drishyam, which was released in 2013, chronicled the struggle of Georgekutty and his family, who come under suspicion when the son of an Inspector-General of police goes missing.

Lijomol Jose, on the other hand, was last seen in Basil Joseph's Ponman in 2025 and Nivin Pauly's Baby Girl earlier this month. The actress was also seen in Gentlewoman, a Tamil female-led emotional thriller released in 2025.
