Antony Varghese Pepe and Keerthy Suresh will be coming together for an upcoming Malayalam film. Makers of the movie released a small video promo on October 29, featuring glimpses of the actors listening to the narration. "Action meets Allure. Power meets Valour! Pepe and Keerthy join forces for the first time in Cinema. Witness the epic as The Demesne Comes Alive Soon!" their Instagram post read.
The film will be directed by Rishi Sivakumar, who last directed Kunchacko Boban and Shamili in Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti (2016). The upcoming film is produced by Monu Pazhedath, A V Anoop, Novel Vindhyan and Simmy Rajeevan under the banners of AVA Productions, First Page Entertainment and Maargaa Entertainers.
Pepe was last seen in Daveed (2025). In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor spoke about his desire to look beyond action films. After a series of hits such as RDX, Ajagathantharam and Jallikattu, he finds a pattern in the dozens of scripts coming his way today. “The background of the stories may vary, but the bottom line is the same,” Pepe said. “Most of them do not look beyond action when it's for me.”
He admitted to enjoying performing action roles, but has become a bit bored with the lack of variety in the characters coming his way. “I’m not interested in being called an action hero. I came into movies to play the lover boy. If you look at my short films, all of them are rom-coms with so much flirting. But now, my career is only fighting,” he joked.
Keerthy Suresh was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video film Uppu Kappurambu (2025), a Telugu comedy alongside Suhas. The actress will next be seen in Ravi Kiran Kola's Telugu film opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Dil Raju and Shirish are said to be backing the project under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
