Producer Bhushan Kumar's T-Series has come on board for the upcoming ambitious epic The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film features Rishab Shetty as the warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi in prominent roles.

According to the makers, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will explore defining battles, extraordinary sacrifices, landmark victories and lesser-known chapters from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's journey.
"The narrative aims to capture his military genius, strategic foresight, fearless leadership and transformative vision of Swarajya, which continues to inspire generations. Featuring an expansive ensemble cast and a creative team bringing together talent from India and overseas, the project aspires to deliver an immersive cinematic experience that brings this defining chapter of Indian history to audiences across generations," read a note from the makers.
With pre-production underway, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is scheduled to commence shoot early 2027.
Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series Films, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a T-Series Films and Legend Studios production, backed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, and written by Rishi Virmani and Singh. The film is co-produced by Shetty, Shiv Chanana and Kabiir Sadanand.
