The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) had reportedly issued immediate closure orders for the Bigg Boss Kannada studio located at Jollywood Studios and Adventures in Bidadi, Karnataka, for allegedly operating without necessary environmental clearances.

The contestants were escorted out of the premises and shifted to the nearby Eagleton Resort. With the suspension of production, over 700 technicians and crew members, who had been working in three shifts for the past six months, have been sent home.

Built at a cost of over ₹5 crore, the Bigg Boss house was constructed on an unprecedented scale, in line with Sudeep’s vision for Season 12, which went on air recently.
