Sunny Deol guns for glory in the action-packed teaser for Border 2, a sequel to JP Dutta's beloved 1997 classic. Directed by Anurag Singh, the sequel highlights major engagements from the 1971 Indo-Pak War, spanning land, sea and sky-bound skirmishes. Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty play the other bravehearts in what is described as a rousing tribute to the Indian armed forces. Amid guns, tanks and explosions, we get glimpses of the soldiers' personal lives, with Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana playing their wives and lovers.

Deol, as expected, looms over the enterprise, firing a rocket at enemy battalions and extolling the might of the Indian army. "Awaaz kaha tak jaani chahiye?" he thunders, to which the response comes, "Lahore tak."

The teaser of Border 2 was released on occasion of Vijay Diwas, which commemorates the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971. The film is slated to release on January 23, 2026.
