has learnt that Prime Video is gearing up to take 

back on floors, with the second season of the police procedural crime thriller—headlined by Sonakshi Sinha and Gulshan Devaiah and created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti—scheduled to begin filming in Rajasthan this month. 

While plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, the creators are said to have locked the script after an extended writing phase. “When the team cracked season two, they knew they had solid material in hand.  The script has been in place, and the team has been in active pre-production since last year," industry sources said.

Film-maker S S Rajamouli has firmly dismissed claims that the teaser for his upcoming film 

relied on generative artificial intelligence, calling such suggestions dismissive of the labour and skill involved in its creation.

The speculation followed the unveiling of a three-minute teaser last November in Hyderabad, where Rajamouli introduced the project to an audience of fans and international media. The visuals, which blended live-action elements with computer-generated imagery, were widely praised online, though some viewers questioned whether the imagery had been produced using AI tools.

Speaking shortly after the launch, Rajamouli said the accusation reflected a misunderstanding of both the process and the people behind the work. He described months of manual effort by a large team of artists, beginning with hand-drawn concept frames and continuing through an intensive rendering process.

According to the director, work on the teaser began in October, with artists labouring continuously until the days leading up to its release. Each frame, he said, required long hours of rendering, and the final weeks were marked by round-the-clock work. To attribute the result to artificial intelligence, he argued, undermines the creative and technical contribution of the artists involved.

While rejecting the idea that AI played a role in the teaser’s creation, Rajamouli did not dismiss the technology outright. He acknowledged that AI tools can be useful at an early, exploratory stage of filmmaking, particularly in accelerating basic processes or generating rough ideas.

However, he stressed that such tools remain supplementary rather than central to his approach. For Rajamouli, AI is comparable to an additional assistant, helpful in limited contexts but incapable of replacing human judgement, imagination, or craft.

The comments come at a time when debates over AI’s role in creative industries have intensified, with concerns ranging from authorship and originality to labour displacement. Rajamouli’s position places him among filmmakers who see value in technological assistance, while drawing a clear line between automation and artistry.

The film will be an invitation to experience the magic of love, the team shared. “We are all made of love stories. The film will be directed by Ruchir Arun, written and created by Sharanya Rajgopal, produced by Anuj Gosalia, Vijay Subramaniam, and Massey, with Sharanya Rajgopal, Vineet Batra and Pracchi Batnagar serving as the executive producers.

A release date recalibration is on the cards for actor Adivi Sesh’s much-awaited pan-India action drama 

has learnt that the film is now eyeing an April release, moving away from its previously announced March 19 window. The date had also been earmarked for Ranveer Singh–led 

, both slated to arrive during the Eid–Gudi Padwa holidays.

Also starring Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, 

is billed as a gripping story of two former lovers who reunite to pull off a series of robberies in a bid to change their lives. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, the Annapurna Studios film is being positioned for a wide, global release.

Sources say the move is a scheduling call aimed at securing a clearer theatrical window for the film as the makers are confident how the movie has shaped up.

“With production wrapping on Tuesday and the final cut shaping up strongly, the team is keen to position the film on a date that allows it maximum visibility and breathing room,” a trade source tells 

, adding that a new release date is expected to be locked soon.

The action drama is directed by Shaneil Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Suniel Narang serving as co-producer.

Sources close to the team have revealed that the film is already in advanced pre-production stages and is expected to go on floors in the coming months. Zaveri is known for creating films that resonate deeply with a wide audience, and his signature "massy" romance was cemented by his work on 

Although an official announcement has yet to come, their upcoming collaboration is expected to position Rane in yet another powerful role, grounded in Zaveri’s distinct style.

The development comes after it was speculated that Zaveri would direct another T Series project headlined by

As the trailer progresses, several characters who appear to be antagonists make their entry, while it is also hinted that the police— including the investigating officer played by Rahman—may be complicit in the crime. Bhavana’s pursuit of her brother and the acts of revenge that follow form the core of what the trailer reveals so far. “I’ll go to any extent to find him,” she says towards the end of the trailer.

The trailer concludes with quick cuts of two stylised action sequences—one set inside a warehouse and another outdoors in slush. Both appear to have been shot using slow-motion cameras. The film’s full title reads

'Anomie' Trailer: Bhavana Sets Out to Find Her Missing Brother

. The film is being mounted on a grand scale in association with V Mega Pictures, with Telugu star Ram Charan presenting it. It will be directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna.

The hitmaker is known for his work in films, including 

, Sachdev spoke about his love for cinema. “For the last decade or more I’ve tried to watch one film a day,” he said. “My music comes from that sense of spectacle. The songs that I make need to evoke those same stunning visuals." Sachdev spoke of music as an invitation to visualisation. Songs and cues are often created with a specific image in mind; at times, the same image presents itself to listeners in the room, validating his intuition. “I love it when everyone sees the same visuals while listening to my sound. But I also like it when there’s a different interpretation. I want to keep my music expansive and exact at the same time,” he said.
