Devi Sri Prasad's 'Yellamma' First Look Unveiled; Joins Nagarjuna's 'King 100' as Composer

Popular music composer and singer Devi Sri Prasad, aka DSP, will play the role of Parshi in his upcoming acting debut, Yellamma. The makers of the film released his look from the film to mark his birthday over the weekend.

"The birth of an actor... On the day of his birth A name called PARSHI. A world called #Yellamma. A journey we are all waiting to witness," the post read on X. Dressed in a pair of checkered shirt and pants, the actor is seen holding a crown.

Directed by Venu Yeldandi, the film is produced by Dil Raju, and has music by DSP himself. The composer, who is behind some of the biggest chartbusters in Tamil and Telugu, last composed for Sing Geetham, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao's Telugu musical.

In related news, DSP also came aboard Nagarjuna's 100th film as composer. The announcement marked a much-awaited reunion between Nagarjuna and DSP, who have earlier collaborated on albums including Manmadhudu, Mass and King.

The upcoming film will be directed by Ra Karthik, who recently directed Priyanka Arul Mohan in the Netflix film Made In Korea. Prominent actress Tabu recently joined the filming of 'King 100'. The actress made this announcement on social media. The duo, who was seen in 1996 blockbuster Ninne Pelladata, last shared screen space in the 1998 film Aavida Maa Aavide. 

Nagarjuna was last seen in Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie. Tabu, on the other hand, was seen in the latest Bhooth Bangla.
