For filmmaker Aditya Dhar, it's not just peak detailing but also peak box-office. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to cross the ₹1,000 crore net milestone in India alone as it gears up for a big weekend ahead. The Ranveer Singh-led actioner has shattered all benchmarks for an original Hindi film.

According to the makers, the film has netted ₹961 crore by the end of week two, and will cross the coveted ₹1,000 crore milestone in its third weekend. Globally, the film has grossed ₹1,501 crore.

The film had netted a whopping ₹690 crore in its first week, with the second weekend adding another ₹177 crore according to the makers. In its second week, the film netted ₹271 crore, taking its 15-day total to around ₹961 crore.

According to the makers, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has set several benchmarks at the box-office, including the biggest Hindi opener of all time, highest paid previews, biggest opening weekend worldwide, highest first and second week collections, fastest film to cross ₹1000 crore globall and highest grossing Indian film in North America, beating the mighty Baahubali 2.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge will set its eyes on the big records, including Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 (estimated ₹1742 crore), Baahubali 2 (₹1810 crore) and Aamir Khan-led Dangal, which stands as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time at ₹2070 crore, out of which close to ₹1,300 crore came from its China release.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be chasing these records without a release in China as well as the Middle East.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the sequel continues the journey of Indian intelligence agent Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh), also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates undercover in Karachi, infiltrating criminal syndicates and political power structures to dismantle a terror network threatening India. The film released on March 19.
