'Dhurandhar' Composer Shashwat Sachdev To Make His Telugu Debut With 'The India House'
The composer will make his debut with Ram Charan's production 'The India House'.
The composer of Dhurandhar, Shashwat Sachdev, will be making his Telugu debut with Ram Charan's upcoming film The India House. According to a press note, the composer has "already delivered five impressive tracks, with the team thrilled by the output as they continue filming the songs."
Set against the politically charged backdrop of 1905, The India House weaves themes of revolution, love, and sacrifice. The film boasts a team of seasoned technicians across key departments. Renowned cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, famous for Baahubali and RRR, is behind the lens, while Vishal Abani heads the production design. Celebrated casting director Mukesh Chhabra, known for Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and PK, oversees the casting.
The film, which co-stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Saiee Manjrekar, Anupam Kher, and others, is backed by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, the banner behind films like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2. The film is being mounted on a grand scale in association with V Mega Pictures, with Telugu star Ram Charan presenting it. It will be directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna.
The hitmaker is known for his work in films, including Uri: The Surgical Strike and the Netflix show The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In an interview with THR India, Sachdev spoke about his love for cinema. “For the last decade or more I’ve tried to watch one film a day,” he said. “My music comes from that sense of spectacle. The songs that I make need to evoke those same stunning visuals." Sachdev spoke of music as an invitation to visualisation. Songs and cues are often created with a specific image in mind; at times, the same image presents itself to listeners in the room, validating his intuition. “I love it when everyone sees the same visuals while listening to my sound. But I also like it when there’s a different interpretation. I want to keep my music expansive and exact at the same time,” he said.
