The title logo incorporates Telugu script, where the first and last letters of ENE appear in Telugu, with the last one flipped, reflecting the film’s offbeat tone.

The 2018 film revolved around four friends and the circumstances that led them to make a short film in Goa. The buddy comedy had music by Vivek Sagar, Bhascker's long-time collaborator (the duo also collaborated in Pelli Choopulu and Keedaa Cola). AJ Aaron will handle the sequel's cinematography, while Raviteja Girijala will be in charge of editing. The film's pre-production is currently underway.
Vishwak Sen was last seen in Ram Narayan's Laila (2025). The actor is best known for his turn as the troubled cop in the first film of Sailesh Kolanu's HIT series. HIT: The First Case was released to acclaim in 2020, followed by a sequel two years later, HIT: The Second Case, which was headlined by Adivi Sesh. The third film in the series was headlined by Nani earlier in May.
