Eric Prydz debuts Holosphere 2.0 in India

Eric Prydz, No. 37 on DJ Mag's list of best DJs in 2025, returned to India after nearly a decade, bringing his Holosphere 2.0 showcase which premiered at the new Ibiza superclub UNVRS to India with two electrifying shows in New Delhi and Mumbai. Organised and ticketed by District by Zomato, the Swedish progressive house artist performed in Delhi on October 4 at IGI Stadium, followed by a set at Dome SVP Stadium in Mumbai on October 5.

The production was a feast for the senses. Prydz leaned heavily into his signature HOLO/holosphere visuals, featuring massive 3D holograms, from robotic men to trippy solar projected behind the console. Laser beams sliced through the stadium in perfect sync with the music, while everyone on the dance floor grooved in perfect harmony to his set.  While we made some new friends in the crowd while grooving to Eric’s reimagined classics like 'Call On Me' and 'Opus', he also remixed the popular song 'We Are the People', which drove fans into a frenzy.

Prydz’s career has been defined by a relentless pursuit of innovation, delivering iconic releases alongside visual experiences. He has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic music performance with creations like his revolutionary 2018 HOLO show and the subsequent Holosphere concept, both of which redefined holographic and visual technology in live settings.

After returning to India after headlining at VH1 Supersonic in 2017, Prydz reminisced about his past performances “Returning to India is incredibly special to me," he said. "The energy and passion of the Indian audience are truly unique, and I’m excited to witness it live with them. It’s been an incredible journey over two decades, and to celebrate it in such a dynamic country is an honour!”
