

The first look of Jayasurya’s next film, titled Operation Tral, is here, and the poster suggests an investigative thriller set in Kashmir. The film is said to be inspired by true events after an ambush by terrorists sparked nationwide outrage. It is being written and directed by Ratheesh Vega, and produced by Joby George Thadathil under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. “..the realities of modern intelligence warfare—blending high-octane sequences with a strong national message,” is said to be the central themes of the film.
Speaking about the film, actor Jayasurya said, “Operation Tral stands out as one of the most exciting and challenging projects in my career. Every sequence is designed to feel real and I’m excited for audiences to experience its massive scale. This film carries a strong message and I hope it resonates with audiences across the country.”
“In a world where terror wears many faces, I wanted to explore the silent battles fought in the shadows by those who protect our nation without recognition,” says director Ratheesh Vega. The film is co-produced by Sunimol Joby, with cinematography by Najose. Ratheesh Vega will also compose music and original score for the film. The project design is handled by Noble Jacob, while editing is by Shafeeque V B. Sound mixing is led by M. R. Rajakrishnan, with production design by Sajeesh Thamarassery and art direction by Suneesh Sodharan. Costume design is jointly handled by Sameera Saneesh and Saritha Jayasurya, while makeup is by Ronex Xavier.
As for Jayasurya, his next film with director Jithin K Jose (director of Kalamkaval) has been titled Mayan - Chapter 1. The project was launched last week in Kochi. The film also features Nyla Usha, Vijay Babu, Niranjana Anoop and Dies Irae-fame Jibin Gopinath in key roles. It has been jointly scripted by Jithin and filmmaker Raffi.
