Ahead of the grand launch episode of the Telugu celebrity talk show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa Season 2, which will welcome Sai Pallavi as its first guest, her Ramayana co-star Ranbir Kapoor gave her a special shoutout in a heartfelt video.
In the video, the actor complimented the way Pallavi conducts herself through scenes and expressed that he cannot imagine anyone else playing Sita's role in their upcoming epic.
Kapoor said, "Sai, what I admire most about you is your honesty. When you're in a scene, you're not acting, you're living it. Every co-star should be lucky enough to share the frame with someone like you. And when it came to Sita, I honestly can't imagine anyone else. Sita is grace, strength and quiet dignity, and you bring all of that so naturally. Standing opposite you as Lord Ram, I didn't feel like I was acting. I felt like I was in the presence of Sita herself.”
"People are going to see you in a whole new light and I can't wait for that," he added.
The actor also also addressed the warmth he has received from the Telugu audience, sharing, "And to my Telugu audience, every time I've come to Hyderabad, you've treated me like family. The love you've shown my films and the respect you have for cinema are unmatched anywhere. Thank you and lots of love. Sai, have fun on the show.”
Hosted by Jagapathi Babu, the first season of Jayammu Nischayammu Raa struck a chord with its viewers through conversations with prominent film personalities, including Akkineni Nagarjuna and Sreeleela. The first episode of the second season is set to premiere on Telugu ZEE5 on October 16.
In Nitesh Tiwari's eagerly-awaited Ramayana, officially titled Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, Kapoor and Pallavi take on the challenging roles of Ram and Sita, with Yash playing Ravana.
Pallavi is also set to star in Rajkumar Periasamy's Om: Chapter 1 - Udhiram (The Blood War) and Mani Ratnam's Inji Vellam which is slated for a January 2027 theatrical release.
