Filmmaker Hansal Mehta on Tuesday launched his production company True Story Films with producer Sahil Saigal. The banner was announced with a strategic partnership that involves Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Ltd and Parag Sanghvi buying stakes in the company.

The collaboration will focus on producing feature films and web series across genres with the company aiming to create a slate of projects collectively valued at approximately ₹500 crores.

While Mehta will now embark as a producer and director under the banner, Saigal—who produced the filmmaker's last two films, Faraaz (2022) and The Buckingham Murders (2024)— will join him in driving the business operations and management of the company.
