In its seventh week, the number of shows have swelled to an impressive 7,629, according to Sacnilk. The film has overtaken the worldwide box-office collections of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups, the marquee pan-India release starring Yash.
A day ago, the team of Hanuman Ansh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi. Director Vishal Chaturvedi, actor Shobhinaw Satyaa and producer Mahaveer Jain were among those who met Shah.
In a post on X, Shah congratulated the team for bringing Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual journey and his devotion to Lord Hanuman to audiences.
During the meeting, Chaturvedi and Jain also discussed RamBola, their upcoming film on the life and legacy of poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas. The project was announced earlier this month, with Chaturvedi writing and directing and Jain serving as co-producer. The Hanuman Ansh team had earlier met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai.
Written and directed by Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young man who embarks on a spiritual journey after the death of his mother and eventually becomes the revered Neem Karoli Baba. The film also stars Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.
