In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., along with Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sita Menon, discussed their new show Citadel: Honey Bunny. This spin-off series to the original Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, serves as a prequel, featuring Dhawan and Ruth Prabhu as Chopra's parents.

Raj spoke highly of both Dhawan and Ruth Prabhu, describing them as “enthu cutlets” when it comes to action. "They’re both what you call ‘enthu cutlets’ with action," he said. "Both were ready to do everything — they’ll whine and complain a little bit — but once it’s on, they want to do it all."

However, their enthusiasm sometimes led to unexpected challenges on set. Raj recounted an instance involving Dhawan, noting, “He’ll ask for an extra move… he said I’ll do an extra couple of gun shots while I’m rolling, and I told him that guy is already dead!” This eagerness forced the team to rejig the choreography of the action sequences. Whether it was extra kicks or additional gunfire, Dhawan consistently sought to push the limits.

Ruth Prabhu's zeal also had its moments of intensity. Raj explained, “She is so enthusiastic that when the guy hit, she decided to do the recoil [the fall] much harder than we wanted. Our camera moves are enough to get the rhythm. A big guy hits her, you can see her flip — it looks great — she hits the floor and the floor is made safe, but she decides to do a very realistic hit that she falls so hard that she’s out… she’s concussed.”

Ruth Prabhu laughed and added, “I know what it feels like to have a concussion which is a pretty cool thing to write on my resume.”
