Aneet Padda stars as Meenu Rawat in this drama, with Raghubir Yadav portraying the spiritual guru 'Baapji.' In the teaser, we see Meenu visiting the police station in order to register a case against him. As one may imagine, the journey ahead of her will prove quite daunting when taking into account her decision to go against a man of such high standing within society.
Within seconds of Meenu going public about her claims, she ends up in the dock as everyone around her, from friends and family members to even her father Baapji, begins questioning and judging whether or not she could be considered the victim of this crime. But Meenu does not give in to such opinions easily and continues standing up for herself despite all odds.
Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of ACP Jasleen Singh Soni, leading the investigation of Meenu's claim against Baapji, while Meenu continues fighting a battle on two fronts; defending herself against Baapji's influential friends and also surviving the increasing number of dangers coming after her.
Other important cast members include Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub playing the role of a defense lawyer called the lone person in the nation to have faith in Meenu; Ram Kapoor is playing Baapji's lawyer, while Arjun Mathur will play a TV journalist.
The premiere date is set for September 25 on JioHotstar.
