A glimpse of Khalifa, the upcoming Malayalam action film starring, was released on the actor’s birthday, offering fans their first look at what appears to be one of his most ambitious roles yet. The short promo, titled The Bloodline, reveals an elaborate fight sequence set in London — a three-months-in-the-making montage that hints at the film’s large-scale vision.

Directed by, Khalifa introduces Prithviraj as Aamir Ali, described in the teaser as “invincible.” The clip is steeped in moody lighting and stylised choreography, drawing comparisons with contemporary action blockbusters that foreground precision and spectacle. Its title, The Bloodline, gestures towards themes of vengeance, inheritance, and legacy — motifs that recur in Prithviraj’s recent filmography.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, Prithviraj wrote, “A revenge forged by a lineage that spans generations! Next Onam… Aamir Ali will write his vengeance in gold! #KHALIFA – The Ruler.” The line doubles as a statement of intent for a film that positions itself within the modern Malayalam action canon while aiming for international polish.

Khalifa marks another collaboration between Vysakh and Prithviraj after Pokkiri Raja (2010). The film is written and produced by under his Jiinu Abraham Innovation banner, continuing a partnership that includes Kaapa, Adam Joan, and Kaduva.
