Lollapalooza India Dates Announced: Festival Returns to Mumbai In January 2026
The festival that turned Mumbai into a world stage is back, promising yet another weekend of unforgettable performances.
The dates for the fourth edition of Lollapalooza India have been locked in, with the music festival set to take over Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 24 and 25, 2026. Over two high-energy days and across four massive stages, the festival, promoted and produced by BookMyShow Live, promises 20 hours of non-stop live music, making it one of Asia’s most anticipated cultural gatherings.
Since its debut in 2023, Lollapalooza India has hosted some of the world’s biggest names alongside breakout Indian artists — with Imagine Dragons, Sting, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, AP Dhillon, Prabh Deep, and Raghu Dixit all commanding the stage. The festival has also carved a reputation for its surprise collaborations, from Nick Jonas joining King for a crowd-favourite set to Anoushka Shankar sharing the stage with Keane.
Tickets open this month. RuPay credit card holders get early access beginning 11 AM, August 26, 2025, while general sales go live from 12 PM, August 28, 2025. Fans can also opt for the RuPay Amplified Access, which bundles vouchers for food, drinks, and festival merchandise, along with exclusive fan pit and VIP privileges.
Beyond the music, the event has built a strong identity around accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability. From wheelchair-friendly layouts, sign-language interpreters, and gender-neutral washrooms to food donations and eco-conscious travel partnerships, the festival continues to broaden what a large-scale live event can represent in India. Equally popular is the Lolla Food Park, which has become a fixture of the experience, serving cuisines as diverse as the line-up itself.
A recent Live Nation survey found that 98 per cent of festival-goers plan to return each year, highlighting how Lollapalooza India has become a community as much as a concert. With global partners such as H&M, Budweiser 0.0, Johnnie Walker Refreshing Mixer Non-Alcoholic, RuPay, and Airbnb backing the 2026 edition, expectations are running higher than ever.
While the artist line-up is still under wraps, organisers are promising a “jaw-dropping” roster of both international and Indian talent. Fans can register now at lollaindia.com to stay ahead on updates as the countdown begins for one of the country’s biggest music spectacles.
