Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri and Dharna Durgaa’s 'Maa Behen' to Premiere on Netflix on June 4

Netflix marked Madhuri Dixit’s birthday with a special surprise for fans by unveiling the premiere date of its upcoming crime-comedy Maa Behen. The film is set to premiere on June 4 and promises a chaotic blend of humour, family drama, and unexpected twists.

Described as a rooted crime-comedy packed with chaos, comedy and full-blown kaand, Maa Behen follows the story of a dysfunctional mother-daughter trio — Rekha, Jaya and Sushma — who suddenly find themselves in the middle of a nightmare situation.

At the centre of the madness is Rekha, a mother already struggling to manage life’s many challenges, until things spiral completely out of control when a dead body turns up in her kitchen. Forced into survival mode, Rekha and her daughters must quickly come up with plans, cover their tracks and stay one step ahead of suspicious neighbours who could uncover the truth.

The film stars Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri and Dharna Durgaa in key roles, with Ravi Kishan also playing an important part. The ensemble cast further includes Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj. Directed by Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa filmmaker Suresh Triveni, Maa Behen is produced by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films.
