Matt Damon, Emily Blunt's Sci-Fi Film 'The Adjustment Bureau’ Getting Indian Remake

American filmmaker George Nolfi is collaborating with Graphic India for an Indian re-imagining of the 2011 film.

George Nolfi, known for writing and directing The Adjustment Bureau, is collaborating with Graphic India for an Indian re-imagining of the the 2011 sci-fi romance. The original film starred Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, exploring themes of destiny, free will and eternal love.

The Adjustment Bureau's remake will be produced by Graphic India founder and CEO Sharad Devarajan alongside Nolfi. Devarajan is the co-creator, producer and writer of the long-running animated hit The Legend of Hanuman, which released its sixth season earlier this year. He also co-created and wrote Baahubali: Crown of Blood with filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and previously co-created “Indian Spider-Man” Pavitr Prabhakar, who appeared in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Nolfi, known for writing Ocean’s Twelve and The Bourne Ultimatum and directing The Banker and Elevation, is currently adapting the series 24 into a feature film.

The original 2011 film, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, grossed over $127 million worldwide and remains a popular title on streaming platforms for its mix of romance, action, and metaphysical themes. Further details about the Indian adaptation, including cast and crew, are yet to emerge.
