The makers of the acclaimed Malayalam film Victoria have unveiled its official poster, confirming that the film will soon hit theatres across Kerala. Starring Meenakshi Jayan in the titular role, the film marks the directorial debut of Sivaranjini J, who also serves as the writer and editor.

Premiered at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in the Malayalam Cinema Today category, Victoria tells the story of a young Catholic beautician from a small Kerala town who plans to elope with her Hindu boyfriend against her conservative parents’ wishes. But what begins as a daring plan spirals into a day of confusion, humour, and self-discovery. Between caring for a neighbour’s festival rooster, managing unpredictable salon clients, and facing her own inner turmoil, Victoria’s day forces her to confront the messy beauty of choice.
