Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers has joined hands with Kannada filmmaker Prashanth Neel to produce a horror film. Produced by Mythri and presented by Neel, the film will be directed by Kirtan Nadagouda, who has assisted Prashanth in films such as KGF (2018 and 2022) and Salaar (2023). The horror film will co-star Surya Raj, Hanu Reddy, and Preethi Pagadala.

Pooja ceremony held grandly, shoot begins soon," their post on X read. Mythri last produced Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude in Tamil and 8 Vasantalu in Telugu this year.
Mythri will also produce Prashanth Neel's anticipated upcoming film with Jr NTR. NTR was last seen in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. The latest chapter in the YRF Spy Universe was released on August 14, clashing with Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie. Previously, he was featured in Devara: Part 1 (2024), co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. Neel debuted with the Kannada action-thriller Ugramm (2014) and became a pan-India name with the KGF franchise, the second part of which became the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, grossing over ₹1,000 crore. He ventured into Telugu cinema with the 2023 actioner Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, headlined by Prabhas.
The Neel and NTR film, which is speculated to be titled Dragon, is aiming to land in theatres on 25 June 2026. According to a report in The Times of India, actor Prithviraj confirmed the title of Prashanth Neel’s next film. In an interview, promoting his recent release Sarzameen, the Malayalam actor reportedly noted that the film will be titled Dragon. The production team had not announced the title before this. No one from the film’s team has either confirmed or denied the news.
