Nivin Pauly to Star in 'Multiverse Manmadhan,' Billed as India's First 'Multiverse Superhero' Film
'Multiverse Manmadhan' will be directed by Adithyan Chandrashekhar and release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Malayalam star Nivin Pauly is set to be a superhero. The actor has announced his new film Multiverse Manmadhan, which is touted as India's first "multiverse superhero" film.
Multiverse Manmadhan will be directed by Adithyan Chandrashekhar, known for helming titles like Enkilum Chandrike (2023) and the 2019 mini-series Average Ambili.
The film is co-written by Anandu and Nithi Raj, with creative collaboration from Aneesh. Multiverse Manmadhan will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Pauly took to Instagram and shared a poster of the film, writing, "This one hits close to my heart! Thrilled to announce India’s first Multiverse Superhero movie, 'Multiverse Manmadhan'. Can’t wait to see this wild, fun ride come to life on screen! Dadha and Rhesu, your wish is taking flight- just as you both imagined."
No other details about the project are out yet. The actor was last seen in the 2024 comedy-drama Malayalee from India, which also starred Dhyan Sreenivasan and Anaswara Rajan.
This is the first film Pauly has announced since September last year when a woman accused him of sexual harassment, which he had termed "fake" and called the allegations a "conspiracy".
