Despite hitting OTT screens on January 30, Sarvam Maya continues its successful streak in theatres across the country. On Monday, the makers of the film put out a fresh poster announcing that the film has completed ₹150 crore in theatres. It was released for Christmas on December 25, 2025. This collection has been collected over 40 days. This makes Sarvam Maya, directed by Akhil Sathyan, the highest-grossing film in Nivin Pauly’s career, surpassing Premam and Kayamkulam Kochunni. The actor, who was going through a lean patch since the release of his last hit Love Action Drama in 2019, had returned to the top line of stars since the release of the film.

The makers put out this new poster with the line, “Rs.150 crores worldwide. A truly unforgettable theatrical run. Sarvam Maya is now streaming on JioHotstar and is still running successfully in theatres near you!” This makes Sarvam Maya the eighth-highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time and the fourth-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025.

Nivin Pauly’s most recent release, Baby Girl, was released on January 22 to mixed to negative reviews. The other breakout star from the film was its heroine, Riya Shibu, who acted as Delulu in the film. She spoke to THR India about her first film with Nivin Pauly. “I didn’t want to say something cliché like, ‘I loved you in Premam,’ or that I’m his huge fan,” she joked about her first day on set with Nivin. She had grown up as his fangirl, but wanted to play it cool. “So I began by joking around with him, like we were old pals. A few kids were playing around us, and I started acting like they were there to see me,” she says.  It’s the sort of thing that immediately put Nivin at ease, and was the start of an easy friendship — the type that made their on-screen chemistry the driving force of Sarvam Maya. This, in a film in which their chemistry was spoken about even more than that of Nivin and his longtime offscreen-onscreen best friend, Aju Varghese.
