Tamil romance Once More has locked its release date. The upcoming romance led by Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar will be released on August 28, announced the film's production house.

"Making a film is a major undertaking. But taking it to the audience and securing a theatrical release—that is an even bigger challenge. Especially with a small film, simply announcing a release date doesn't guarantee that everything will go according to plan," wrote Yuvraj, the film's producer, expanding on the film's release delays.

Plans sometimes change due to factors beyond a person's control, he added. "Your anticipation to watch this film in theatres… To be honest… That is what has brought this film this far. For the love, patience, and faith you have shown in this film," the producer said, announcing the new release date.

Written and directed by Vignesh Srikanth, the romance will be produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios. Arjun Das will next be seen in #Love, a Netflix original directed by Balaji Mohan. The series, produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth follows Tara Krishnan (Aishwarya Lekshmi), a dating app founder who meets Mathew Jebaraj, a big league finance guy. Will compatibility bring them together or chemistry? This forms the rest of its plot. The actor's last film was Tamil film Con City, before which he was seen in Pawan Kalyan's Telugu actioner They Call Him OG.

Aditi Shankar, on the other hand, who made her on screen debut with Karthi's Viruman, was last seen in Tamil film Nesippaya and Telugu film Bhairavam.

Once More will have music by popular composer Hesham Abdul Wahab. Vignesh Srikanth has previously written dialogue for films such as Por and the Netflix anthology Navarasa.
