'Panchayat' Season 5 Announced: Prime Video Sets 2026 Release Date With New Poster
After a record-breaking 4th season, Amazon Prime Video announced that 'Panchayat' will be returning for season 5 in 2026.
On June 24th, Amazon Prime Video's Panchayat season 4 raked in the highest opening numbers for the franchise during its launch week alone. On Monday, a new season has been officially announced by Prime Video which is slated for 2026.
On the day of its season 4 premiere, Panchayat already started trending in 40+ countries in the Top 10 streaming titles. In India, the crowd-favourite show has held on to its top spot since it came out last month.
Sharing the announcement for Panchayat 5, which will release next year, Prime Video confirmed that the new season is already underway. The streamer wrote: “Hi 5 👋 Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye (Get ready to come back to Phulera for another ride). #PanchayatOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon.”

Panchayat stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav among others. The show is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, who has also written it. Panchayat is directed by Akshat Vijaywargiya and Deepak Kumar Mishra, and produced by The Viral Fever.
