'Peaky Blinders' Actor Cosmo Jarvis Names Mohanlal In His List Of Best Actors
The Malayalam actor was the only Indian on the list
In a piece for the Article Magazine, Cosmo Jarvis, actor and star from hit shows such as Shogun and Peaky Blinders, , named Mohanlal in his list of 40 best actors of the world. The list features world cinema greats such as Charlie Chaplin, Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldman, Viggo Mortensen, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. The star’s fans have celebrated the inclusion in the list.
He also listed the following films as his favourite: There Will Be Blood, Lawrence of Arabia, Fargo, Star Wars (before Disney), Stand By Me, Field of Dreams, Green Book, Wings of Desire, Being There, King of Comedy, Manon des Sources, My Left Foot, Big, Space Odyssey 2001, Scarecrow, The Big Lebowski, The Master, Notre jour Viendra, Hook, Being John Malkovich, Sideways, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Scent of a Woman, Song of Granite, Observe and Report, No Country For Old Men, The Truman Show, Spinal Tap, Antichrist, The Mule.
As for Mohanlal, he will soon be joining the sets of Drishyam 3 next month. The story of Mohanlal's Georgekutty is set to continue soon, as Drishyam 3 will start shooting in October. The makers of the film, including the Malayalam superstar, shared the news on social media with a video. The promo begins with a shot of Georgekutty, and then cuts to a video of the actor with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Anthony Perumbavoor. "October 2025 — the camera turns back to Georgekutty. The past never stays silent. #Drishyam3," the actor wrote on X.
