The likeness of Global star Ram Charan was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London on Saturday, joined by a wax figure of his pet dog, Rhyme.

The statues, which feature the RRR actor seated on a couch with Rhyme beside him, were revealed during a ceremony attended by Charan’s family, including his father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi, and his wife, Upasana Konidela. Charan, dressed in a black blazer, carried the real Rhyme onto the stage, drawing applause and laughter as the dog curiously inspected its wax counterpart.

The display marks a first for Madame Tussauds. Rhyme becomes the first Indian celebrity pet to be honoured with a wax figure and only the second pet overall, following Queen Elizabeth II’s corgi.

“It’s a surreal moment,” Charan said after the unveiling. “To be here with my family and see both Rhyme and myself captured like this — it’s incredibly special.”

The figures will eventually be relocated to Madame Tussauds Singapore, where they will remain on public display.

The unveiling was met with enthusiasm from fans, particularly online, where videos of Charan and Rhyme posing beside their statues quickly gained traction. Charan, one of the leading figures in Telugu cinema, gained global recognition for his role in the Oscar-winning film RRR. His inclusion in the museum’s global collection reflects a growing international spotlight on South Indian cinema.
