Weeks before the two-part epic reaches cinemas, the makers of Ramayana: Rise of Legend, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, have scheduled the film’s world premiere for the evening of October 27, 2026, at the David Geffen Theatre of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. Organisers say the guest list will draw Hollywood personalities, filmmakers, international journalists and other members of the film fraternity. The auditorium is expected to be filled to its maximum capacity of 945 guests.

The choice of venue carries significance for the film’s crew. Hans Zimmer and A R Rahman, both Oscar-winning composers, are working together for the first time on this project. The visual effects come from DNEG, which has won the Academy Award for visual effects eight times.
