The shoot of Asif Ali’s highly-anticipated TikiTaka is all set to resume shoot by end of April. The Rohith VS film, which had started its shoot towards the end of November, had to be called off after its lead actor Asif Ali got injured during the shoot.

Speaking about what happened, Ali says,“I had a major accident during the shoot. I was bedridden for four months as a result of that accident and I returned to shoot for other films only after surgery and physiotherapy.”

The action-based script of TikiTaka further forced Asif Ali to advance the work on other films over this. “I’ve only recently been permitted by doctors to resume any sort of sports-related activities. But the first film I joined after surgery was last year’s Adios Amigo. My look in Adios Amigo too was a result of the treatment phase.”

Asif Ali has had the release of Adios Amigo, Level Cross, Kishkindha Kaandam and Rekhachitram since then. He has also completed the shoot of Jeethu Joseph’s Mirage.
