Director SJ Suryah will be back next year with his film titled Killer, which was earlier announced to be produced by Gokulam Gopalan and Angel Studios. This morning, the director took to his X account to announce that the film will feature music by AR Rahman. This will also be Suryah’s third film with Rahman after New (2004) and Anbe Aaruyire (2005). It's also interesting to note that Suryah himself composed the music of his last directorial Isai, which was released in 2015.

The poster of Killer states that the film will have a pan-Indian release with Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada versions. Other collaborators of the movie have not been announced, although SJ Suryah himself will play a leading character in the film.
