'SlumDog' Teaser: Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu Face Off In This Action Thriller

The teaser of Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu's upcoming Telugu film SlumDog- 33 Temple Road was released recently, giving audiences a glimpse into its gritty world. The video begins with Sethupathi's voiceover detailing why people seek revenge. The tightly cut teaser, which is mostly dialogue-free, takes us through an underworld, possibly led by Sethupathi, and the police on his tail, led by Tabu.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is produced by Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla. The film also stars Samyuktha, Duniya Vijay Kumar, Zarina Wahab, VTV Ganesh, and Brahmaji among others.

Vijay Sethupathi will next be seen in Mani Ratnam's upcoming Tamil film. The upcoming film will bring together Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi for the first time on screen. Madras Talkies, Mani Ratnam's production house, made this announcement on Instagram. They also confirmed that the filmmaker's frequent collaborator AR Rahman, will join as the composer.

The film will be co-produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies in what is tha latter's 23rd production. The film will be Vijay Sethupathi's second collaboration with Mani Ratnam, following the sibling action drama Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018). This will mark Sai Pallavi's first collaboration with Mani Ratnam. 

Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand will also be seen in Thigarajan Kumararaja's Pocket Novel.

Meanwhile, Tabu recently joined the filming of Nagarjuna Akkineni's landmark 100th film, which is tentatively titled 'King 100'. The actress made this announcement on social media. "And we begin with the #King100
#Nagarjuna @annapurnastudios," she wrote. The upcoming film will be directed by Ra Karthik, who recently directed Priyanka Arul Mohan in the Netflix film Made In Korea.

The duo, who was seen in 1996 blockbuster Ninne Pelladata, last shared screen space in the 1998 film Aavida Maa Aavide. The actress will next be seen in Drishyam 3.
