Imagine the 'Euphoria' if Sydney Sweeney makes her Indian debut? That's what the internet has been discussing after a report claimed that the Hollywood star has been offered a huge pay cheque to star in an Indian production, touted to be "one of the most expensive" ever.

A report in The Sun stated that Sweeney was offered a whopping ₹530 crore to star in the film, a staggering sum which "shocked" even her.

The report claimed that, in the film, the 28-year-old actor would play a young American star who falls in love with an Indian celebrity. The said production house approached Sweeney with the mega-deal, which includes salary and sponsorship arrangements.

Out of the total ₹530 crore sum, the production would pay her £35 million (approximately ₹415 crore) as an acting fee and the other £10 million (approximately ₹115 crore) as "additional sponsorship agreements."

"But the project is intriguing, and it could elevate her global profile even further. The Indian film industry is powerful and growing, and this movie is designed to bring its productions to the international market. Nothing has been decided yet, but it’s a huge opportunity and Sydney is weighing her options carefully," the report read.

The makers are currently eyeing to hit production early next year, intending to shoot in New York, Paris, London and Dubai. If the deal works out, Sweeney would emerge as the highest-paid actor in the Indian film industry.

But nothing has been confirmed yet, as the publication claimed that for the actor, "money isn’t everything," and she is mulling over the offer because she has many projects lined up. "But this could push her to new limits as an actress."

Sweeney is currently gearing up for the release of her next film, Christy, in which she stars as US pro boxer Christy Martin. On track for a November 7 opening, early reviews of the David Michôd-directed sports drama have been overwhelming, with many predicting Sweeney to land an Oscar nomination.
