Known for his passion for racing, the actor walked away unharmed from a crash during his six-hour practice session for the Dubai 24H 2025.
Ahead of the prestigious 24H Dubai 2025 endurance race, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar survived a crash during a practice session at the Dubai Autodrome on January 7, 2025. His Porsche 992 was seen spinning multiple times before crashing into the guardrails of the wall at 180 km/h, right before the session ended.
Thankfully, Ajith was assisted out of the car, uninjured, and seen to be in full racing gear. He was then taken to an ambulance for a couple of precautionary medical checks.
Kumar’s manager, Suresh Chandra, assured fans that the actor was "unhurt, hale, and healthy,” and that despite the scare, the incident has not dampened Ajith’s spirits. The superstar remains focused on his preparation for the race and his unyielding passion for motorsport.

Ajith Kumar’s participation in the 24H Dubai race, a gruelling 24-hour relay-format competition on January 11 and 12, has already garnered immense attention from fans and racing enthusiasts. He announced his return to the sport by launching his eponymous team, back in September, 2024. That was also when he revealed his plans of participating in the European GT4 championship this year.
He’s previously participated in The British Formula 3 championship, as well as the Asian Formula BMW Championship, among others. Back in Chennai, Kumar founded Venus Motorcycles, and even took part in the National Motorcycle Racing championship.
Ajith's upcoming film with Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi, was set to release for Pongal but has been postponed by the makers. Meanwhile, his collaboration with Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly, is set to release on April 10.
